  Really enjoyed this restaurant, it is a real gem in a small town. Replaced to go if you are visiting the Pontiac… Or a good reason to visit Shawville.

  Warm hospitality and exotic dishes. You will be surprised by the authentic Thai cuisine in this unassuming little restaurant on the road through Shawville, Quebec. The menu includes approximately 45 items including appetizers and soups, stir fries and curries, classic noodle dishes like Pad Thai, deep-fried dishes and Thai salads. There is a basic wine menu, and domestic and imported beer (Thai, Chinese, Dutch). I really enjoyed the Gaeng Panang, a creamy broth-like vegetarian red curry served with jasmine rice. The main dishes are good value, priced at no more than $12-14 CAD. Hours vary by day, so check the website.

  We loved the panang curry and will definitely be returning for more! The restaurant would be slightly improved if it played Thai music instead of mainstream music, but the food more than makes up for this detail. We were also happy to see they had Thai beer available.
